We offer a three-hour cooking class which starts at 10:30 a.m. with a tour of our wine cellar, followed by a welcome drink and then the cooking class in English with our chef and assistant.
This hands-on course consists of the preparation and cooking of an entire meal, which is then enjoyed by the participants, accompanied by DOCG wines.
Also, we offer a three-hour wine-tasting lesson, which begins with a tour of the wine cellar and welcome drink, followed by a fascinating detailed explanation of the history behind DOC and DOCG wine, table wine, Super Tuscans, a brief outline of the rules and regulations regarding the denominations, and a tasting of one white DOCG Vernaccia di S. Gimignano, as well as three reds (Chianti, Nobile di Montepulciano and Brunello di Montalcino). The experience terminates in lunch with Pecorino cheese and typical Tuscan cold meats, all accompanied by the wines previously tasted, winding up with cantucci biscuits dipped in Vin Santo sweet wine.
